Ontario takes credit for having 80 certified iGaming operators under its wing, the latest being Titanplay, an online casino, and sportsbook based in Malta, where it goes under the name of Shark77 Ltd.
It was iGaming Ontario (iGO) which shared the news on social media and mentioned its certification being received from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
As per iGO, it now takes credit for having 50 operators, 80 iGaming sites, and 30 sportsbooks.
As part of its offerings, Titanplay has included sports wagering and online casinos, bringing more than 100 casino-related games to the table, such as Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush, 777 Strike, and many others. Their platform gets the required boost from Delasport’s all-inclusive iGaming service.
Delasport is known to have established its presence in Ontario, following the AGCO granting it a certification towards the beginning of the year, along with incorporating its plug & play sportsbook iFrame service with Green Brick Labs, a platform supplier based in Canada.
According to the CEO of Delasport, Oren Cohen Shwartz, considering their present standing in the fertile markets of Ontario, their company has no doubts whatsoever that they are now here to stay, especially with forming associations with prime companies such as Titanplay and Ocean88. Their growth is a sure-shot story in the province.
As per Deloitte, the certified markets related to iGaming are now raking in over $4 billion in revenue collection in Ontario over a period of only two years, exceeding expectations. The second year itself brought in $2.7 billion in GDP, signifying an increase of 70% compared to the previous year’s 1.6 billion. The government has received $2 billion, creating over 15,000 work opportunities.
