Bluberi celebrates 30 years in Drummondville, Quebec, with a new office

Bluberi has opened a new office to celebrate its 30 years in the region. It is located in Drummondville, Quebec, and the infrastructure is surrounded by cafes, parks, and restaurants. The launch demonstrates the brand’s confidence in the region, where it has been present for more than three decades.

The launch was done in a style to pay homage to one of its famous titles, Devil’s Lock. It is a slot theme that inspired the unlocking ceremony of the new office on August 7, 2024. Quebec is excited about the development, as the brand has committed to increasing employment opportunities and encouraging creativity. Bluberi has described this launch as a step forward in market expansion and growth.

Benoit Lapolice, the Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Bluberi, called this a new era, adding that they now have the privilege of working in a dynamic working environment. Benoit further stated that the new premises reflect their desire to foster innovation and employee welfare.

Andrew Burke, the Chief Executive Officer of the brand, said that it was an exciting time for Bluberi, adding that the new office creates opportunities to continue their aggressive growth strategy, market share, and more jobs.

The game development studio has an office in Moncton, New Brunswick. It had previously launched its offerings in Alberta by signing a deal with Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis. This has enabled it to host Bluberi’s gaming titles throughout the province.

Bluberi’s recent expansions are happening after a reshuffle in leadership roles. Steve Kohon, previously VP of Sales, is now the Chief Operating Officer, and his term began effective March 1. Bluberi then welcomed Scott Richards on April 4 this year. Scott was formerly associated with Konami, Aristocrat, and Light & Wonder. He is now the VP of Commercial Strategy and Business Development.

Blueberi went live in Canada with some of its top titles, including, but not limited to, Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble. Blueberi selected its titles primarily to enhance the user and entertainment experience. Plus, it helps them expand their list of offerings, which is always successful in the industry.

AGLS and Bluberi began working on their partnership by first integrating GameSense’s tools to promote healthy gambling habits among players. This stems from the fact that gambling can be addictive and affect players in a variety of ways. It is crucial for players in the industry to take all necessary steps to prevent their players from unintentionally succumbing to gambling addiction.

The growth of Bluberi is credited to multiple factors, and market growth is one of them. A reshuffle in the leadership roles acts more like a backbone, potentially helping the brand to get new and innovative ideas.

It remains to be determined whether the strategy is successful and whether Bluberi is able to increase its market share in the future.
