AGCO waves the green flag for edict egaming providing games

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has granted permission for edict egaming to operate its business of making provisions for games supply in the province about the online casino space.

The issued certification includes the German based company, edict egaming GmbH, and edict Malta Ltd, through which both entities will have the rights to offer their extensive collection of games to the operators. This is also the initial step for Merkur Group, the parent company, to enter North America’s lucrative markets.

In the case of edict egaming, it is an affiliate of the Merkur Group, along with playing the role of a supplier of online games.

According to the CEO of edict egaming GMbH, Dominic-Daniel Lienard, the company accepts the certification as a privilege, which signifies that they are dependable and have arrived. This will be their opportunity to prove to the online gaming enthusiasts in Ontario the company’s prowess with online titles.

The gaming supply business was set up in 1998 in Hamburg. The Gauselmann Group took over the company in 2008, which presently goes by the name of Merkur Group. The company’s gaming related service was kickstarted in 2014, being mobile oriented.

edict egaming introduced its gaming collection in 2021, following which the supplier struck an exclusive deal with Apparent Gaming, another games provider. Shortly after, it formed a mutually beneficial partnership with Atomo Gaming to release its exclusive titles in South America.

Recently, Ontario is known to have introduced multiple iGaming businesses in the province, including Thunderkick, a Sweden-based gaming studio, which commenced its operations through a deal struck with PokerStars and LeoVegas. Added to that was the affiliate of Evolution, Ezuki, beginning its business by tying up with theScore Bet and Bet99 and another online gaming site belonging to Titanplay.
