The AGCO has allowed 20 online sportsbooks and several other casino operators to establish their business in the second largest province in Canada. Since then, the number has only increased in the last month as more companies are eagerly joining this thriving market.
Newly joining the list is Wazdan, an industry-leading gaming content provider that operates in 20 regulated markets, including Ontario. The content provider is already operating successfully in several American states like Michigan, West Virginia, and New Jersey. The news about Wazdan securing an AGCO license for the Ontario market was shared on May 10. With this approval, the content provider can sign partnerships with other AGCO-approved operators to provide top-end products. The Canadian government’s decision to end the monopoly on lottery and gaming and let private operators in will help Wazdan strengthen its foothold further in the North American region.
